Success at Siena Woods
Mr. Mbong was admitted to the facility with significant deficits in self care, functional mobility and cognition following a second stroke. He participated in PT, OT and ST with significant improvement demonstrated. At the end of his rehab stay he was able to transfer and ambulate with Stand-by assist and propel a wheelchair independently. Toileting, bathing and dressing were also completed with Contact guard assistance. He also benefitted from cognitive training to ensure optimal safety awareness. At the end of his skilled stay at Siena Woods, the resident returned to his home environment with family and Home Health support.
