Karmenta Center is a not-for-profit facility. This means that we are able to place more emphasis on making our “home” a better and more enjoyable place for our residents. We take the time to assess everyone’s specific needs before admission to our facility. Most importantly, we make sure we can meet those needs in order to provide the best services possible. We will develop the most appropriate plan of care for our residents and place them with people that are most compatible with them.
Karmenta Center is a full-service nursing facility offering rehabilitative care, long-term care, and skilled nursing. Nursing care is provided for those recovering from an illness or injury, or those requiring 24-hour quality care. Our specialized approach is designed to help each resident achieve the highest level of independence possible. We deliver the most comprehensive care available by providing for the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of our residents. Our nursing community is Medicare/Medicaid certified. Karmenta Center is there for those who are recovering from illnesses, accidents or surgeries. Since our goal is to return residents to their home setting whenever possible, we offer a full array of in-patient rehabilitation therapies. Skilled therapist’s help residents regain strength, relearn skills and become more confident and independent throughout their daily lives. When returning home, our licensed professionals will work closely with health care providers and community resources to ensure supportive services are in place.
